Facilitating a LE@D Online Course

One of the major advantages of LE@D courses is that they are self-contained and self-paced, allowing individual students to complete them at their own convenience and at their own pace.

There are times, however, when it is to the advantage of the students to complete a class as a group, with a more rigidly defined schedule and a leader who directs or facilitates discussions and additional activities.

LE@D has designed an online class using our Learning Management System (Blackboard/WebCT) to train leaders in the art of facilitating a class. We encourage you to take advantage of this online resource, if for no other reason than it will give you the opportunity to experience the LEarning Management System first-hand.

To access the course, contact LE@D with your name and the name of your group. We will add you to the course and send you your login information. This is a free resource offered to our group coordinators and facilitators.

For those who prefer a different delivery system, we are reproducing the course on these pages.
