1. What is your favorite time of day?
Early morning — really.

2. If you could give the world one piece of advice, what would it be?
Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

3. What is your favorite city in the United States?
San Francisco, hands down.

4. If you could have a room full of any one thing, what would it be?
Good friends.

5. What is your favorite food?
There are many!

6. What do you value most in other people?
Humanity. We are all wonderful, brilliant, and imperfect people.

7. What is your favorite kind of music?

8. If you could only see black and white except for one color, what color would you choose to see?
Gray, because then you'd see life like a black and white movie!

9. What is your favorite magazine?
The New Yorker

10. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Being judgmental.

11. What is your favorite sport?
Running

12. If you could choose one of your personality traits to pass on to your children, what would it be?
A good sense of humor.

13. What is your favorite TV program?
I actually don't have one right now.

14. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
Contemporary art curator for a museum.

15. What is your favorite Web site?
PostSecret: http://www.postsecret.com

16. What do you like to do for fun?
Create music podcasts.

17. Who is your favorite character from literature?
Not sure if this counts, but I love the characters in James Thurber's "My Life and Hard Times".

18. Are you cheap or thrifty?
I'm actually neither — I enjoy spending money.

19. What was your favorite subject in school?
Literature. Reading.

20. Who was your favorite singer when you were younger? How about now?
The only singer I can think of from my childhood is Allen Sherman (remember Hello Muddah Hello Faddah?). These days, it varies, but lately I really like Brett Dennen — to me, he sounds like what Billie Holiday would sound like as a man.
