1. I want to offer LE@D tutorials to my staff. What do I have to do?

You may register for your entire staff or individuals, using a credit card or you may request an invoice for the total amount.

To begin, contact us at lead@unt.edu.

2. Who do I contact if I cannot log in or for other technical support?

Please e-mail us at lead@unt.edu and we will respond to you within 24 hours, usually much sooner. Or you may call us at 940-565-2502. Include your name, the email address you used when you signed up, the course or courses you have registered for, and the organization you are affiliated with, if applicable. This information will help us locate your account more quickly.

To check your browser and make certain it is ready for WebCT Vista courses, please go to student resources.

3. Do you issue continuing education credit?

Most of our partners prefer to offer CE credit certificates from their state organization or regional system to those completing the courses. However we will issue a UNT completion certificate if that is the client preference.

4. How does LE@D Direct work?

LE@D Direct lets you purchase selected LE@D tutorials using Visa, Mastercard, or Discovery credit cards. We created LE@D Direct to provide individuals or small groups an alternative. A single user can register for multiple tutorials, or register more than one user in a single tutorial.

Once you complete the registration process for your LE@D Direct tutorial, you will receive a printable confirmation page containing the access instructions for your tutorial. Each LE@D Direct section will have multiple participants and can have a local course facilitator.

Upon completion of the tutorial, you will be provided a completion certificate by the University of North Texas. Questions about technical issues or other matters should be directed to lead@unt.edu.

5. How do I pay for LE@D Courses?

Individuals may pay for LE@D Courses through our secure, third-party payment system. The QuickPAY® Payment System accepts Visa®, MasterCard®, or Discover® Card.

To pay by check, print a copy of the email you receive with your registration information and mail it, along with your check, to:

Groups may pay for LE@D Courses through our secure, third-party payment system. The QuickPAY® Payment System accepts Visa®, MasterCard®, or Discover® Card.

Groups may also choose to be invoiced and pay by check.

6. Can I buy one registration and use it for my entire staff?

Each registration entitles one individual to access the course material. Registrations may not be shared in any way. LE@D course content is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws, and may not be broadcast nor redistributed in any way without prior approval from Lifelong Education @ Desktop. That includes, but is not limited to, displaying course material via projector, large screen tv, or overhead projector. Use of LE@D course materials in a group setting requires prior approval by LE@D, and all individuals in attendance must purchase a registration from LE@D.

7. How much time do I have to finish my course? Do I have to finish it in one sitting?

Unless your organization has reached an agreement to extend the time, a course is available for 30 days from the time your registration is approved. If you purchase a Z-Pack, you will have 30 days for each course in the pack (4 months for a 4-pack, 6 months for a 6-pack), and you can take any of them at any time during that period.

You do not have to finish an entire course in one sitting. You can exit and re-enter the course as many times as you would like during the time your course is available.

8. What are the requirements for taking a LE@D class?

LE@D classes are open to anyone at any time. There are no prerequisites for anyone wishing to enroll in a LE@D course.
