There is a temptation to celebrate on the first day of the Fiscal Year... the budgeting cycle has finally ended, the budget has been passed, and it is time to spend the money. However, the budget process has not ended. The budget must be spent properly, the bills must be paid, and the budget must be monitored. There will be revisions to the budget before the fiscal year ends.
Financial Management covers handling of the budgeted funds after they have been approved and the fiscal year has begun.
This course and its two companions (Basic Budgeting and Understanding Budgets) will take the mystique out of budgeting and put you in control of the budget.
